- [Львица]: my friend, my roommate, and fellow blogger (her name is in Russian, if you're curious, and it means Lioness). Her blog can be read here: The Slow Show.
- [X]: a friend from high school, a complicated acquaintance, and the bringer of drama. Close friends with [novel killer].
- [No-Mr-Darcy]: Self-explanatory. A guy I met on my trip to Scotland, who goes to [X]'s school. Things didn't work out, he's kind of oblivious. I've lost and learned.
- [bromandawg]: another guy I met on the Scotland trip, and [No-Mr-Darcy]'s best friend and bro. They have a serious bromance.
- [manly metro]: a friend to both [No-Mr-Darcy] and [bromandawg]. He really likes shoes.
- [novel killer]: another complicated acquaintance from high school, an occasionally understanding individual, and an occasional racist.
- [mind ninja]: my former roommate and good friend. She's a genius - and a ninja.
- [The Question]: a common friend of mine and [the major was a lady]'s from college. She also has a blog. Check it out here: The Black Hole Symposium.
- [shortage of perfect breasts]: another friend from high school who ALSO goes to college with [X]. She is a computer science major and wrapped up in some rather complicated rumor circles that have rather dubious beginnings and ends.
- [uber gay]: a friend of mine since fifth grade. You may see him sporting a bowler hat and a grand curled mustache (you totally won't, but I can dream).
- [Mickie]: my former flute instructor and a dear friend of mine.
- [the artist]: another friend who goes to the same school as [X] and a good friend of [mind ninja]'s.
- [hahahaha SHUT UP]: a... former acquaintance of mine. It's complicated to say the least. Apparently he's a creepy hipster now. Good for him.
- [save the panzer]: a friend, a building tenant, and a damn good dancer - who knew?
- [tedesco]: *sigh*... no little description can ever explain. I admit defeat.
- [action is eloquence]: a photographer, a high school friend, an amazing person.
- [tiny dancer]: yet ANOTHER high school friend who goes to [X]'s school. An aspiring writer and actress.
- [foxy lady]: high school friend, studying elementary education. Really wants to get a pet fox.
- [it's a twin thing]: a pair of twins. Self-explanatory. Not separately described because I often see them together and I love ambiguity. Ha.
- [musical queen]: Yep, another high school pal. Big Queen fan. Big musical fan. Likes long awkward hugs.
- [wolf woman]: formerly [X]'s closet friend. I don't really hear much from her so, for lack of a better description - a woman of great mystery.
- [slightly pansexual, mostly annoying]: [save the panzer]'s... well, I'll get back to you on that.
- [amante della musica]: a friend from college who has an incredible knowledge and love of music.
- [Broadway baby]: an old friend and actor. One of my biggest dreams is seeing him on Broadway and getting tickets to his opening night performance.
- [one-complicated-lesbian]: an acquaintance from the Scotland trip. Like [novel killer] but raunchier. If that's even possible.
"It's all about the triumph of intellect and romance over brute force and cynicism." Okay, so that's Craig Ferguson talking about Doctor Who, but this blog endeavors exactly that. Lofty yes, but what the hell, why not. Onward, my romantic intellectual companions!
Cast of Characters
For simplicity's sake, as I refer to people multiple times on this blog, I have created a list of those who I reference at least twice. This way you're not confused and I don't have to repeat myself two zillion times. People who do not have names in brackets (which denote pseudonyms) are listed either by their real name (because I don't know them), their name is purposefully misspelled or their real name was too great to omit and I had to use it anyway, to hell with the risks. Celebrities are, obviously, listed under their real names, as I don't know them. Sorry, I'm not that cool.
