This is at the Mayo Clinic, not that far away from me. They've developed something that slows down aging in mice, which is pretty remarkable, to say the least. It's weird, and crazy and... wow. I didn't think anything like this would be... well, created in my life time. Yes, it's just in the lab... but still.
It's just... complicated. After immersing myself in ideas of life, death, immortality and all that jazz while writing my story about time travel, something like this could be the best thing and the most awful thing in the world. Something to keep an eye on, that's for sure.
